Located in Gothenburg, Swedens second largest city, Free Lunch Design employs a creative team that produces world class games for multiple platforms. Our team has produced over 70 games for PC/Mac and iOS/Android so far, some of them have been downloaded millions of times. We are looking to keep innovating and develop games that will knock your socks of, no matter what platform or genre.



Free Lunch Design was founded in 1998 by Johan Peitz. A dozen or so games were created and among them the smash hit Icy Tower which quickly became an internet phenomenon.

In 2007 Free Lunch Design was acquired by Muskedunder Interactive, a game studio focused on developing games for external clients. During the years we delivered games for companies such as Disney, Marvel and Paramount. But we also managed to release our own titles every now and then, and over time we generated enough revenue to employ personnel only focused on our own games.

In 2012 we made the switch permanently. To clarify our mission statement to ourselves and our old clients, we renamed Muskedunder Interactive to Free Lunch Design. Returning to our roots, and focusing on making the games we love to play ourselves.
