Press release: For immediate release

Sweden’s second largest social game developer, Muskedunder Interactive, has today officially changed its name to Free Lunch Design.
– With more players than the whole of Sweden’s population, we want a name that reflects our global presence, says CEO Magnus Alm.

Muskedunder acquired the indie game developer Free Lunch Design In 2007 and has since then expanded the reach of the flagship title “Icy Tower” to millions of new players. The game has been download 25 million times and played by over 11 million people on Facebook, with over 3 million likes.
– Our new company name is trademark protected globally and works better internationally. Changing to Free Lunch Design feels like a natural step, due to its close connection with our largest game title.

The name change also signifies a shift in business focus, from contracted game development to self publishing own titles. Free Lunch Design has 8 employees in Gothenburg, Sweden’s second largest city.

Very cool and impressive! Must have been a true mind twister that one. The name “Free lunch design” feels like very relaxing.
