Alex the Allegator 4
Welcome! This site offers some help to a few of the levels in Alex 4 that people often have problems
with. You can find level maps for these levels, with the secret places marked. You can finish these
levels without finding the secret places, but if you want to get 100% stars and cherries on these
levels you will have to find them. If you find 100% stars and cherries on all levels, a secret space
shooters game will be unlocked! So if you have a problem with one of these levels, click it, and you
will get the map.

Level 11
On level 6, the first boss level, you have to beat the Spike Truck. To do that, you have
to use the roller on the right side of the screen (to move across the level jump above the Spike truck
using the block on the left) and roll over the Spike Truck. Make sure you roll on it from the back,
otherwise you will hit the spikes and you will get hurt, so roll only when the spike truck is
moving to the left. Important note: you will have to roll several times until the spike truck falls.
Note: Watch out when you jump, there is a cannon on the top of the level, and spikes, so don't get hit
by them.

To beat the boss in level 12, you need to wait for opportunities to jump on the button on top of the machine. When the button is pressed, spikes will come out of the bottom of the machine, and the next time the boss lands, he will crush the glass tiles (but beware, he will also shoot up a few bullets). Make the boss crush the tiles in the middle (you can make him go where you want because he always tries to crush you). Eventually the boss will fall off the screen after the last glass tiles there are crushed. This is when the boss is defeated.
Tip: When you hit an enemy by jumping on it, you can leave the Jump key pressed and then you will make
a very high jump. You can use it in all kinds of levels, such as level 3 to get to the high stars, and
there is even a high star at the end of the first level.
This is very important for level 8,
where you need to reach far platforms, and you can't without jumping on the jellyfish while holding the
jump key. Level 8 is very difficult - you need to time your jumps according to the jellyfish's jumps.
You will get it, eventually - don't give up.
If you collect all the stars and all the cherries on all the 12 levels in Alex 4, you will be able
to start a hidden space shooters game. Select start and press F1, and you will be able to play it.
Note: the space shooter game is endless. After you beat the boss in the end of the level, the game will
continue and the level will start over, but the difficulty will increase.
